Feeding Directions

Use Pace-Maker 25% Supplement Pellet to add versatility to your feeding program. Mix with on-farm grains or use as the sole source of supplemental protein, minerals, and vitamins when horse is on calorie restricted diet. The following table provides typical intakes for horses with a mature body weight of 1000 pounds.


Foals: 1-3 months 0.5-1 lb PM 25% plus grain*
Foals: 4-6 months 1 lb PM 25% plus grain*
Weanlings 1.5 lb PM 25% plus grain*
Yearlings 1.5 lb PM 25% plus grain*
Two-year Olds 1.5 lb PM 25% plus grain*
Adult Horses 1 lb PM 25% plus grain*
Late-gestating Broodmares 2 lb PM 25% plus grain*


*Amount of grain depends on the caloric need or desired body condition of the horse. Can be fed without grain for horses with low calorie requirements.
