  02/12/10 3:52:20 PM

CFC Farm & Home Center is pleased to announce nine new informational brochures on nutritional management of equine disorders.  Fast paced research in the field of equine nutrition has led to an explosion of new information that gives us greater understanding of nutritional related disorders.  These new brochures were developed in association with Kentucky Equine Research (KER) to help horse owners and veterinarians easily access sound nutritional information that will assist them in developing diets for horses diagnosed with one of these disorders.  The nutritional management brochures cover these nine common disorders:  Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome, Equine Polysaccharide Storage Myopathy (EPSM), Polysaccharide Storage Myopathy (PSSM), Recurrent Exertional Rhabdomyolysis (RER), Equine Metabolic Syndrome (insulin resistance), Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction (Equine Cushing’s disease), Laminitis, Hyperkalemic Periodic Paralysis (HYPP), and Developmental Orthopedic Disease (DOD)
